1. About These Terms

These terms apply to all orders placed with B&A Firewood ("we", "us", "our") for the supply and delivery of firewood, kindling, smokeless fuel and related products. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Payment on Delivery

Payment is taken on delivery by the driver, in cash or by card (contactless). There is no online payment facility on this website. No card details are requested or stored by us online. The full order total is payable to the driver when your logs are delivered.

3. Your Right to Cancel (14 Days)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason. To exercise this right, contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email.

If you cancel before delivery, no payment is due. If delivery has already taken place, we will arrange collection of the goods and refund any payment made, less a reasonable charge for the delivery and collection where the goods are not returned in their original condition.

4. Delivery

We deliver to addresses within our delivery area (roughly a 30-minute drive of Haslington, Cheshire). Delivery charges vary by zone and are clearly shown when you check your postcode. Delivery is available Tuesday to Saturday, excluding Sundays and any dates we have blocked.

Delivery times are indicative. We will text you when the driver is on the way. We are not liable for delays outside our control (weather, traffic, vehicle breakdown), but we will communicate any delays promptly.

5. Access and Tipping

You are responsible for ensuring safe access for our delivery vehicle. If access is restricted (narrow lanes, weight-limited driveways), please tell us at checkout. We can barrow bagged logs to a log store; tipped loads are tipped at the kerbside or on your drive.

6. Product Information

Our logs are described honestly: kiln-dried, barn-dried or seasoned, with the wood species mix and approximate volume stated on each product. We do not make any certification claims. Volumes are approximate as firewood is a natural product.

7. Returns

If there is a problem with your order, contact us within 14 days and we will resolve it — whether by top-up, exchange or refund. Firewood is a natural product; minor variation in size and moisture is normal and not grounds for return.

8. Liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
